Consignor states that Holland & Holland has acknowledged that this shotgun, while bearing their name, was not made by them but by an individual who imported Italian made barreled actions into England, finished them, and had them engraved by English engravers. Of course the well known Alan M. Brown is one of England's premier engravers with a multiple year waiting list to have work done at great cost. Bbl flats have London proofs to 3-1/4 tons and have 2-3/4" chambers. Bore diameter: left - .735, right - .733. Bore restrictions: left - .021, right - .013. Wall thickness: left - .026, right - .027.
